Ana

Ana started playing piano in year 8. She is from Serbia where she finished elementary and high music school. She holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Music Pedagogy and Theory of Arts from the Faculty of Arts of University in Nis, Serbia.

Currently, she is on her master’s studies in Music Business and Management at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Agder in Kristiansand, Norway.

During her youth education, she went to many piano competitions in Serbia. During her bachelor’s studies, she participated in an International Piano competition in Nis as a solo performer and in a piano duo (2015,2016,2017, and 2018). She is a passionate choir singer, and during her career, she was a member of the Academic Choir of the University of Nis in Serbia, with whom she participated in “Singing Europe” – 2016 Wroclaw, Poland where she sang in an opera choir with operatic tenor Roberto Alagna and operatic soprano Alexsandra Kurzak, conducted by Bessam Akiki. She was the member and pianist in the ethno group “Niske devojke” from Serbia, with whom she performed at the festival “Days of Serbian culture”, Reykjavik, Iceland, 2020.

She moved to Norway in 2021 for her master’s studies at the University of Agder, and she became a member of Kristiandsadn’s opera choir.

She is passionate about music and dedicated to working with students. For her music represents one of the crucial elements in pupils’ development, and it’s very important to make a good foundation in their first contact with arts.
