Daryna born in Ukraine and began her musical studies at the age of seven. She finished her bachelor program at the Kharkiv National Kotlyarevsky University of Arts where she studied with the (famous)professor Suren Kocharyan.
Now she continues her Master Degree at the University of Stavanger. Daryna plays on a viola made for her by Ukrainian modern master Andrew Golybokie. Daryna has appeared as soloist, chamber musician and music teacher. She has years of experience working with young students and organized her violin ensemble. They participated in various children’s competitions and gave concerts in the cities of Ukraine. She was a founding member of the Capriccio quartet (2011-2018) The quartet worked for numerous cruise ship companies and played concerts in various concert halls in the cities of America and Europe.
Daryna has a keen interest in orchestral playing. Her recent orchestral experience includes working with Kharkiv Youth Orchestra, Kharkiv Opera House Orchestra, Kyiv Radio Orchestra and Kharkiv Academic Theatre of Musical Comedy. Currently, she is most passionate about getting young classical musicians off the page to activate their own creativity, improvise, and support their passion(love) for music.
