Svitlana

Svitlana is a professional flutist from Ukraine.

She works as a flute and saxophone teacher and also has extensive concert practice in Stavanger.

She holds a degree from the National Musical Academy of Ukraine, Tchaikovsky, with a short Master’s degree in Music and Art (1998-2003).

For several years, she had a permanent position at the National House of Organ and Chamber Music of Ukraine, where she was an artist in the ensemble named after Boris Lyatoshinsky. She is also a guest artist with the orchestra of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Taras Shevchenko (flute, piccolo).

Svitlana is a regular participant in the Kyiv Klassik project, led by the UNESCO Artist for Peace, German Makarenko (flute, piccolo).
