Dear parents, we would like to invite your children to spend the summer holidays in the Art Summer Camp organized by the team of International Music School of Stavanger, Fine Arts Studio and a professional rhythmic gymnastics coach.
The Art Summer Camp consists of fun and interesting music lessons, gymnastics, art for children and last but not least some well-deserved rest and me-time for the parents! Three enthusiastic professional teachers came together to create an opportunity for children not only to have fun and some activity this summer , but also to try out various types of art and sports.

WHICH SUBJECTS ARE FEATURED IN THE ART SUMMER CAMP?
The following subjects are featured:
The classes are adapted for all children who wish to attend the Art Summer Camp. Special attention will be paid to the physical development of children of preschool and primary school age. The programme includes exercises that help with the creation of a proper posture, the strengthening of the corset muscles, the prevention of flat feet condition, the development of coordination and flexibility, the development of dexterity and faster reaction time, the improvement of motor skills, visual memory, the development of a sense of rhythm and plasticity.

During the art lessons the children will complete wonderful summer art works, learn different techniques and try different materials to create visual images. The art classes don’t only help to develop drawing/painting skills but also contribute to the development of a child’s mind, imagination, creativity and fine motor skills. The lessons are specifically designed by a professional art teacher to be age appropriate for all children.

Baby singing classes are divided into age groups and differ in levels of difficulty.
The classes consist of:
-singing greetings and farewells
-kid’s musical instruments playing
-development of a good ear for music and rhythm
-music playing and listening
-finger and musical games
-musical literacy (for the kids from 3 years of age)
-observation of symphony orchestra instruments (for the kids from 3 years of age)

WHAT IS THE PRICE?
4 weeks of attendance (one day per week) cost 1920 NOK
4 weeks of attendance (two days per week) cost 3620 NOK
There are discounts available for the families with 2 and 3 children:
5% discount for 2 children from one family, provided that both children attend the Art Summer Camp 2 days per week, possibly in different groups (thus the cost for each child is 3440, – NOK)
10% discount for 3 children from one family, provided that both children attend the Art Summer Camp 2 days per week, possibly in different groups (thus the cost for each child is 3260, – NOK)
THE TEACHERS AND SPONSORS:
Anna is a professional art and linguistics teacher. She has 3 master’s degrees in Linguistics, Pedagogy, and Social Work. She graduated from an art school in Russia. Anna has many years of experience as a private teacher for both children and adults. In Norway Anna has worked as a teacher for the bilingual children, a preschool teacher, and a pedagogical leader in various kindergartens of Stavanger and Sandnes, as an English language and literature teacher for the high school students and an art teacher at a Randaberg school. Anna is a passionate teacher and the head of her own Fine Arts Studio art school and Smart Panda language practice, both founded in 2015. She is happy to work on the Art Summer Camp in a team built with the professional, inspirational and passionate music and gymnastics teachers.
Kseniya is a professional rhythmic gymnastics coach with 13 years of experience. At the age of 4, Kseniya started attending rhythmic gymnastics and at the end of her sports career, she completed the Master of Sports of Russia and started her coaching career. She has extensive experience in training both the beginner children and the professional athletes in Russia. In addition to that in 2012, she has received a master’s degree in Sports Psychology, attended the referee course, and the workshops of well-known trainers. Since 2013 Kseniya has worked in sports clubs in Denmark (Copenhagen) and with the gymnasts from the Danish national team. In 2018 she began working in one of the leading sports centers in Germany (Berlin) with training the professional athletes for the German national team. Today Kseniya lives in Stavanger and is excited to be a contributing part of the Art Summer Camp.
Iana Ghilea started playing piano at the age of 5. She won her first prize at the Young Pianist competition at age of 8. At the age of 12, she soloed with a symphony orchestra and performed a Bach concert. A few years later she soloed with an orchestra and performed Handel’s Six Concertos for the Harpsichord and Arensky’s Fantasy on the theme of Ryabinin. By the age of 16, she became a regular participant of the international workshops and a laureate of the international and national competitions in Moldova, Ukraine, and Romania. From 2008 to 2011 Iana participated in a student exchange program, and in 2011 she won a scholarship for talented musicians at the Music Conservatory in Laramie, Wyoming, USA. In 2012 Iana received a master’s degree in instrumental performance in piano from the Academy of Music, Theater, and Fine Arts in Chisinau, Moldova. Subsequently, she continued her education with a master’s degree and postgraduate at the University of Stavanger, the faculty of instrumental performance, where she was awarded the highest mark for her project Etudes-paintings by S. Rachmaninov. In 2018 Iana graduated from the Organ studies. Currently, Iana performs solo in chamber music ensembles and is actively involved in the development of the International Music School of Stavanger and the Art Summer Camp.
HOW DO I REGISTER MY CHILD/CHILDREN FOR THE ART SUMMER CAMP?
All you have to do is Register for a class
When you register for the Art Summer Camp you have 14 days from that date to cancel the registration and get the money back, provided that there are more than 14 days left before the Art Summer Camp begins. If it’s 14 or fewer days left before the start of the Art Summer Camp the tuition fee is non-refundable. When you register for the Art Summer Camp and sign the contract you receive an invoice, it must be paid within 5 days. If it’s 5 or fewer days left before the Art Summer Camp the invoice must be paid on the day it is received.
